  1. Some great songs there. I must admit that back in the 1970’s- early 70s I disliked Donna Summer because well- I was supposed to- she was Disco. Around 1980 I became a fan. I can’t say I like all of her stuff especially starting with that Bad Girls album she really had some great songs! “Bad Girls”, “Hot Stuff” “Cold Love”, “The Wanderer” etc.. she rocked.

  2. I didn’t know the Joan Osborne number, though I may well have had the album!

    The Doors’ Maggie M’Gill and Police’s Roxanne spring to mind!
