If anyone deserves to be heard by the Universe in 2017 it’s Jarrod Gollihare (AKA The House Of Jed). It’s difficult to fathom his drum-centric indie/synth/pop, but remember Squeeze circa 1978 (“Take Me I’m Yours”, “Goodbye Girl” etc)? Well I hear a resemblance which most probably no one else hears. And that’s the wonderful thing about his music, it’s catchy, quirky, but almost impossible to define, except it’ll worm its way into your head. A live date in my home town soon (Tucson) would be something to wish for this year.
Here’s “I Eat Earthquakes Like You For Breakfast”
