Dance Crazes: The Slosh

slosh

The Slosh was a group party dance that was popular during the early 70s. Similar to line dancing, it is characterized by steps, kicks and turns that are repeated over and over. Light, upbeat pop songs by the likes of Tony Christie and Daniel Boone were favoured.

Jack & Victor from the British comedy “Still Game” recently revived The Slosh to counter a bout of boredom at the local pub disco.
