Hackskeptic’s Top 20 Albums Of 2016

Okay, so 2016 was a pretty shitty year for us music fanatics with the loss of David Bowie, Prince, George Michael, Maurice White etc. Fortunately there was some amazing new music that lit up an otherwise dreadful year. Belatedly, here’s my top 20 albums of the year.

  1. Geoff I’m impressed you stay so current with music in addition to the 1001 list – in my project I’m living almost entirely in the past!
My favourite 3 from last year were the new Radiohead, Tragically Hip, and Weezer albums. Leonard Cohen & PJ Harvey are ones I’d be keen to hear from this list

  2. I’m always listening to new records Geoff. Always hoping that I’m going to hear something I haven’t heard before. It’s a bit like fishing, hours and hours waiting for the thrill of a bite.
