Bizarre Moments In Rock: The Bee Gees Storm Off Clive Anderson Show

Things seemed to be going well as host Clive Anderson interviewed the Gibb brothers on his satirical chat show in 1997, until the host picked up on the band’s previous name, Les Tosseurs. In addition, Anderson joked about not remembering a 1969 hit, “Don’t Forget To Remember”.

“We’re getting on like a storm, aren’t we Clive?” Barry Gibb asked sarcastically. “In fact I might just leave,” he added before walking off, followed swiftly by Robin, and moments later Maurice.

“I’ve never had anyone walk out before…” Clive began.

“You called me a tosser, pal,” remarked Barry.

Anderson initially looked stunned, but managed to compose himself to end the show.
