Dance Crazes: The Cavern Stomp

cavern

The Cavern Stomp was a dance movement popularised at The Cavern Club, Liverpool during the early 1960s. It involved holding right hands (sometimes both hands were used but only the right hand was held), and moving from one foot to another (sometimes with a hop), shoulders hunched.

The Big Three released “The Cavern Stomp” in 1963,as a celebration of the dance.
