Many a deluded rock star has believed that their talent can cross over to the silver screen and almost all of them have delivered works of undiluted sewage. Here’s the fourth part of a continuing series…

Musician: Mick Jagger
Movie: Freejack (1992)
Directed by Geoff Murphy

John J. Puccio from Movie Metropolis said “…a trite screenplay, limp pacing, and lackluster acting.”

Musician: Bono
Movie: The Million Dollar Hotel (2000)
Directed by Wim Wenders
Rotten Tomatoes Rating 26%

Peter Travers from Rolling Stone magazine summed it up with the line “The script that Nicholas Klein has conjured from Bono’s idea is a quicksand that sucks down a solid cast.”
