Taking influence from The Beatles’ “Happiness Is A Warm Gun” by splicing snippets from unfinished songs, Thom Yorke and the band consciously moulded this sprawling epic into one of the most memorable songs of the decade. Jonny Greenwood’s backwards and forwards recorded solo adds an intensity and synchronicity that jolts the senses into a feeling of unexplainable unease, which is what I’m sure they intended on release.
