386 – Faith No More – Epic (1989)
Written by Billy Gould, Jim Martin, Roddy Bottum, Mike Bordin and Mike Patton
Produced by Matt Wallace
Label – Slash/Reprise

In my 2011 review of the album from which this incredible single was lifted I wrote; “A theatrical, compelling mix of everything that was great about the band, with a stomping funk bassline, brilliant traditional metal guitar interplay from the much underrated Jim Martin, and Patton snarling rap and vocals like he’s being throttled. The outro fades away with a sad but sweet piano lament that only adds to what is one of the most important songs of the late 80s.”
